I created these with Photoshop CS3 and CS4, took the pictures myself and got the fonts from www.dafont.com.
Fusion Magazine: What it's all about
My new music magazine is an Abstract-Alternative style and features music that isn't mainstream or well-known. The house style is very modern use of language (slang), (mainly) sans-serif fonts, an alternative and kitsch style with a lot of bright and almost brash colours. It will appeal to the target audience of young-adults from ages 16 to 20, by featuring interesting articles that aren't superficial or outward (like some other magazines with the same target audience). The tone will be informal with a use of slang words and occasional swearing, and modern references.
My unique selling point is the oddity and quirky-ness of the house style and features of obscure bands such as 'Lemon Demon' and 'Unicorn Kid', who do not appear in a lot, if any magazines.
